“We don't have enough healthcare workers, and we won't be able to take care of the demand in this aging population that is all around us. So this is where digital health transformation has to occur.” - HIMSS President and CEO Harold Wolf.
CARPL.ai was beyond excited to attend the HIMSS conference 2025, and when we say everyone was talking about AI, we mean it. We witnessed a clear move from theoretical conversations about AI applications to discussions about real-world execution. AI adoption is no longer a question of "if" but "how and when." Healthcare providers are actively integrating AI-driven solutions to enhance diagnostics, improve patient flow management, and boost operational productivity.
Out of the various sessions we attended at the conference, a few interesting sessions revolved around AI-driven solutions indirectly contributing to ROI by streamlining workflows, reducing workload burdens, and optimizing resource allocation. This focus on ROI driven solutions aligned perfectly with CARPL.ai’s approach to solving for inefficient radiology workflows.
CARPL.ai’s key differentiator at the conference was our universal AI widget. With zero-click AI consumption, the widget ensures AI insights without disrupting workflows. CARPL.ai’s vendor-neutral approach lets healthcare professionals choose AI solutions that fit their unique needs. We engaged in discussions with multiple stakeholders about the importance of utilising a platform for AI integration as opposed to separate AI vendors.
A key achievement for CARPL.ai at HIMSS was signing a strategic partnership with Ramsoft, integrating our AI offerings into RamSoft's PowerServer and OmegaAI RIS/PACS platforms. Our collaborations with PACS providers like Ramsoft, Philips, and Deep Health underscore a common goal - seamless AI integration that enhances clinical workflows without friction, not just for the users but for the IT teams as well.
This year’s conference had four themes: digital health transformation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and workforce development. A major on-ground highlight that resonated with CARPL.ai’s core values of utmost patient security was the cybersecurity pavilion, emphasizing the growing importance of data security in an expanding digital healthcare landscape. CARPL.ai is a leader in AI cybersecurity as it adheres to HIPAA and GDPR guidelines, ensuring strict data privacy, compliance, and secure AI integration for radiologists. Our platform is FDA, CE, ANVISA, and ISO cleared, safeguarding patient data through robust encryption, interoperability, and continuous monitoring.
Interoperability was another one of the major themes at the conference. The need for seamless data exchange while integrating new technologies into healthcare systems is the topmost priority for platforms like CARPL to work with current health processes.
CARPL.ai was honored as part of the winner’s circle at the Emerge Innovation Experience, recognized for addressing workforce shortages in healthcare. Participants were challenged to develop solutions that maximize staff efficiency, reduce burnout, and optimize workflows in high-demand areas. By streamlining AI adoption, reducing administrative burdens, and cutting costs, CARPL.ai empowers radiologists to process higher patient volumes efficiently while ensuring high-quality care.
HIMSS 2025 made one thing clear - Healthcare providers are now in "action mode”. They are actively seeking AI solutions that drive measurable improvements in patient care and operational efficiency. We remain committed to leading this transformation by driving on ground impact. We have developed a COF Framework (Clinical, Operational, Financial) that helps measure AI’s impact in radiology. Clinically, it measures reduction of human errors, time saved per patient, number of discrepant cases. Operationally, it measures radiologist efficiency and bed turnaround time. Financially, it helps record cost savings and additional revenue from imaging, referrals, and admissions.
AI in healthcare is happening now. If you're ready to transform clinical efficiency and patient outcomes, CARPL is your partner in making it happen
